Basehor/Linwood Ks. High school Car show fund raiser

went to this show in october and just now found the pictures . This is a small kansas high school show and they draw over 400 cars . Very nice show and very well run .

I am not an expert on those , it is a W nose car and he claimes it's real but may be a clone

The general and the guys brother owned the starsky and hutch . They do the show circuit together .

I wouldn't have a clue how to authenticate one.  I did a quick check and it looks like they could only be had with an automatic but that doesn't mean he didn't swap the trans into the car.  Doesn't matter anyway, it's a cool looking car and thats good enough for me.

  As far as the first Cyclone look at the grill and then the other posting of a members buds ride. Its like a Charger 500 compared to a standard Charger. They had two motor options the 428 and 351 Windsor and as far as I can remember the 351's were all autos. Still no one likes to hear their car isn't right and with something besides those Cragers with dinky tires it would be a nice ride.

Well from my foggy memery both had the 428 option but most were 351's and I have seen a few 428 4 speed cars in Muscle car magazines that were said to be factory correct.

The aero nose Cyclone Spoiler II (Wayne's car) only came with a 351W and FMX automatic.

The standard nose Cyclone Spoiler was available with ANY available engine and transmission (including a 4-speed).  But it has none of the body modifications like the re-rolled rocker panels and aero nose.   It was an appearance package.

It is rare that you would see both kinds of Cyclones like that at the same show.

ok I understand better now , yes this is the standard W/ nose car.  Odds go up of see two when you caravan there with one of them
