Well, I'm a new Dad again. We lost our geriatric golden retriever a few weeks ago, the complications from all his ailments (diabetes, epilepsy, arthritis, among others) became too much for him, so we had to have him put down. The house was just too quiet, so we remedied that in a big way. Picked up a couple of shelter rescues today, about 3 months old, and am having a blast with them so far. Proud papa and the two tykes are pictured below.

They sure are a handful... been awhile since we had puppies around. Need to keep plenty of paper towels and Resolve carpet cleaner on hand.  :-\ Thanks for the condolences Mike... here's a pic of Buddy in better days.

Now that's great!!!! Not great that you lost your Retriever, but great that you care enough to try and save a couple dogs from the shelter. I pretty much did the same thing a few years back.

Good Luck with them.  :2thumbs:

:iagree: Good for you, I wish more people would do it that way versus buying from pet stores, etc!

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

My old friend Rusty of 17 years left us 5 months ago yesterday. Last September we picked up Gibson (les paul) so he learned for almost a year from Rusty and has been a great dog so far. We got them both from Humane Society, we are thinking of getting another one soon as Gibson seems to miss having a buddy. BTW both dogs loved a ride in the Charger and sit inside car when working. If Gibson hears me start the Charger he goes crazy wanting a ride.

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.
