The video is a bit grainy looking, but I was bored & playing around on the streaming device that I got for my TV & found this......

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Omj6zxtIB0

The TV is hooked up to my stereo with a subwoofer & I cranked the volume up a bit. The car sounds really cool & it scared the crap out of my cat when it echoed through the house.

I love it.   :2thumbs:

Be a really cool video if that dude driving wasn't so scared of it and would stay in it. Obviously doens't know how a Chrysler 4-speed should be driven.

Wonderful sound only a hemi can produce!!!!!!! Wow

I'm curious about how the guy was shifting.........was he simply babying the tranny? Damn sure wasn't speed shifting as I know it. :shruggy:

Whether the guy can drive or not, I'll give him the benefit of the doubt considering that he was out on the street in traffic. I know if I did that, I'd either have the car impounded or a stack of tickets before I got back.

You & me both. Look at the bright side, it'll be cheap since you aren't spending money on paint, chrome, trim, upholstery, brakes, exhaust......

Trends in this hobby are sometimes funny. I find it funny that the "Rat Rod" craze in the beginning was to build the rattiest, most unsafe, POS you could find...

Now it seems it's all that cept now it has to have the ratty body draped over a $20K frame that looks like it's NHRA certified to run 6.0 1/4's, must have a 900 C.I. engine on Alcohol, and be insanely fast, but look "Ratty".

What's next? No body at all? Maybe a steering column mounted on a frame and a huge engine?

I think it's funny that there is a label for it, "Rat Rod" or that there is a whole movement with a fan base now. Years ago when I first started driving I had a Rat Rod & didn't know it. I thought I was simply driving a POS that was ugly & needed work because I was broke.  :smilielol:

Great observation.  :icon_smile_big:

You were cool before it was cool.

Now it's a lifestyle choice. And that drives the hard core rodders mad, but all the bandwagon rat rodders (with big $$$$) will disappear and then it will return to the basics: POS cars with broke owners.
