Hey,

I wanna drop the rear of my car a decent amount. Since the axle is on to of the leafs this should be easy. Anyone have any suggestions on spacers and stuff?  The saddle on the rear has an extremely large hole so using typical spacers bought from the auto store might not work because of the top pin size..

I may just end up fabracating one if no one has any ideas.

Can't you just drill the hole bigger?  Typical lowering blocks are the usual bet for an inch or two.

Go several inches and you're gonna get spring-wrap like a b*tch thoough.

And major amounts of lowering by blocks . . .  it just looks ghetto to me.  It makes me think of a busted-ass Chevy S-10 with a rear roll pan and bling wheels that cost more than the truck.

Have you considered just flopping the front spring eye brackets?  Lots of people do that.  Just turn them upside down, and that's probably worth at least an inch lower at the wheels.

The problem is the axel saddel. On the 73's they have a huge hole that a rubber gromet goes into. All lowering blocks typically have a 5/8' pin.
