Going off track here but Mike, how many people are in the car with you when you are road racing?

Here is a 72 with a different twist. How about a Three Link Rearend???
Here I have the tank out as we are shortening it to fit. The panhard bar was hitting the original size so chop chop.
I felt it was a great time to get a couple good pictures of the rear up close. Those are 295 for those that wonder and I feel I could have stuffed 305s with out an issue
OH as you can also see, we are finishing up on the three inch exhaust too.

Bill, not to Hijack or get off topic here but when you say "295's" do you mean 50/15's? or 60/15? interested to know you back spacing always wanted to put wider tires on my 72 (has 275/60/15) when you say "305" again, do you mean 50's? or 60's? thanks mike. btw very nice  :2thumbs:

Actually this is a 295x45x20
I had to have at least 18s to clear the huge 14 inch brakes.
Notice my car has no leaf springs so that made a huge difference in clearance. These cars have big wheelwells but the springs take up about 4 1/2 inches of that space in their original location.
I don't remember the backspacing because I ordered the wheels first then the rearend length. I can get all that though if you need it, not really hard to get.
I know most here don't think these cars need that big of a wheel but you can fit the same width tire under your car with the same mods but use a 15 inch if the tire is available.
