Hi Guys. I`m doing a total resto on my 69 Charger. The car is stripped to just BIW. It has standard crank windows. I was concidering installing power windows.  I`m not a #`s guy but is it a big undertaking to switch over,am I asking for trouble ?    Al

I don't think it's a monster undertaking.  you would probably be better off with a kit of some sort.  I cannot imagine it's that easy to scrounge up OE charger power window parts.

Coronet/satellite(2dr hardtop)  parts can also be used.
I did it years ago when it was easy to find a B-body in the wreckers yard.

Just 6T9 CHGR

This company also makes a retrofit kit for our cars as well....a few members have used them

For $1,000.00 you would think you would get something better than stock 1990 GM switches     :hah:
1968 Dodge Charger - 6.1L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.55 Sure Grip

2013 Dodge Challenger R/T - 5.7L Hemi / 6-speed / 3.73 Limited Slip

1964 Dodge Polara 500 - 440 / 4-speed / 3.91 Sure Grip

1973 Dodge Challenger Rallye - 340 / A-518 / 3.23 Sure Grip

I like the ones that Use the stock crank as a switch....I cant remember who makes them though  :brickwall:
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Thats also why I hate the XV kit, they use GM switches......
I'm still having doubts about doing a power window conversion. I would probably try to find the original B-body switches and make them work on an aftermarket system.

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...
