I was just reading about Johnny's 71 Super Bee and I remember the 70 Hemi Charger a short time ago. Wasn't Chris' 69 used too?  Any others?

My car was sposed to be used by Johnny Lightning for a "projects" release but I don't know if they released them or not.

I believe that Gene's R/T was used to make a diecast for the 1969's as well.

Yes Gene's R/T was the guinea pig for Ertl's Authentic's Series they have out now for the 68-69 & 70 models....that sure was an experience and was fun being a part of the critiquing process of the model & seing it to the final product.

Oh here's my "almost" models

JL/Auto World doctored up a pic I sent JL and put it on the silver car's package (made my car a silver 68, printed 69 on the package but is actually a 70 in the box :slap:)

Then Hot Wheels releases this limited edition puppy.....the artist had "no knowledge" where they got the idea to make an orange '69 R/T with the black hood call outs...again :slap:

We have had two companies make die casts from specs and such from our 70 el camino SS 396.  The Franklin Mint and Welly die cast toys did them.  The guy from the Franklin Mint spent a total of 3 days doing laser measurements, sketchs, and photographs when our elky was on display out in the AACA museum for the Muscle Car display back a couple years ago.  Both companys have pretty detailed models too which we were very impressed with.  Welly made them in 4 colors, one of which was black which is the color of or el camino.  Franklin Mint chose to make it in a cranberry red but might re-release it later down the road in a different color.

They initially used a photo of mine when this car (Purple is beautiful.) was being advertised as coming out.  They even stated in the ad the wheels weren't the ones that were on the car.  I wish I would have done a screen save.

CHARGER FAN found it HERE.

Although they chose the usual purple, mine was used for this car...

Chris, I remember you submitting several pics of my '70 as well for this one. Ya think it might have had an influence on them??  :scratchchin:

I've got a couple Hot Wheels of my 67.

Is there a master listing somewhere of all that were made?

I was trying to find out if they made one of my wife's 66 Valiant ragtop.

:iagree:

It was a blast, for sure.  It's also cool to see how many guys on this site have had some similar involvement   :2thumbs:

Chris, you need to copyright your car plus some of those images and start collecting royalties...
