How do I find a place to work on my car?

How do I go about finding a garage, or some kind of commercial location where I can work on my cars?  I don't have a garage at my house. I'm searching on the net for commercial or industrial space for rent, but can't find anything like what comes up when searching for housing rentals.

You may want to put up one of those car port thingy's and tarp it in. Car in strange place = problems  :Twocents:

Yep, or spend the money on the storage towards a shop doing the work.

Is there any room where you live to put up a garage?

Look up warehouse rentals and look in craigslist under commercial real estate   Mike

I found mine in the Tradin' Post (weekly classified ads) but I've been combing the paper and Craigslist as well. There have been some pretty good ones on Craigslist - and yes, check the commercial listings too since most rentals won't allow you to "work" on the car.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.
