Anyone know about Wesley Stout?

He wrote a series of books in the late 40's about Chrysler producing tanks, airplane engines, bullets and more items during WWII.

Any info on the books or author?
Seeking information on '69 St. Louis plant VINs, SPDs and VONs. Buld sheets and tag pictures appreciated. Over 3,000 on file thanks to people like you.
