all my condolences to you and your family

Same here. I've had too many friends pass due to cancer. I just lost another friend on Nov. 14 from lung cancer who never smoked a day in his life.

Ghoste

I am very sorry for your loss.  I hope there is peace for you that he is not suffering.

no more pain, no more suffering and he passed fulfilled.
Hang in there.  Sorry for your family loss.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

While I'm very sorry to hear of your family's loss, I am glad that you all got to spend some time with your dad before he passed away.  That's time you'll remember and cherish.

My condolences as well.

Hey, I'm new here, but participate in some other tight-knit online forums.  I know how real the online connections can be, and it's emotional to me to see this ultimate expression of emotion brought to the forum.  Your Father should be proud for the way he raised you, and your family.

I'm currently going through what appears to be the final days of my family's patriarch on my own Father's side - my grandfather.  Cattleman, wheat farmer, and quiet comedic strength of our fold for all of my 43 years.  It's very tough, and I know it can be only moreso for you.  My sincere and heartfelt condolences.  Your Father's life is obviously one that will be greatly missed, and should be even far more celebrated.

:iagree:  Please let it be consoling that he's in a better place.

Your Father wanted to see his children and they wanted to see him.  That's more than what can be said for some.

Keep yer' chin up and God Bless.
