The guy is wording the ad as if the car started with a HEMI. Stating HEMI production, how rare the car would be, low miles, etc. Only one line saying it was an original 440.

Otherwise, very nice car! :drool5: :drool5: :drool5: Love the color with Performance Hood Treatment.

"IT STARTED OUT AS A HIGH PERFORMANCE 440 AND WAS UPDATED TO THE CORRECT DATED, TOTALLY STOCK 426 HEMI!"

As far as "he only states it in one line" at some point you have to be responsible for what you bid on. If someone actually reads the entire ad I don't see any way you could think the original engine was a Hemi.

Maybe a little murky. He's using the rarity of true Hemi cars to help sell his Hemi clone. I don't think hes trying to rip anyone off though.

Agreed... :2thumbs:
That is what I really thought...Not that hes trying to rip someone off, just a bit confusing to a non-mopar enthusist.

I dont see a problem with the ad... anyone who is serious about buying a car (especially one on ebay) should be smart enough to read the entire description.

He needs to put it on a lift and takes some pics. He say nothing about the kind of  resto it has had? If it was done correctly he needs to add more info if he wants to get the correct money for it.
