charger sickness....

just curious how many of you enthusiasts are as sick in the head as i am.....i've had the vin of my charger memorized for 13 years and up until about 5 years ago the whole fender tag too......

i'm a sad person......

I just bought my Charger in dry and warm Nevada a couple of weeks ago and realised that I would move to NV just to keep her there in a dry and warm climate

Sure i was a nut for cars even earlier.. cause i was nine years old then, but i still remember the original dodge rebellion radio and TV ads like it was just yesterday...

Sickness is telling your charger good night and giving it a kiss after driving it...seen my boyfriend do it creeped me out a bit...

I have done something to the car almost every single day for 10 months. it has gotten to the point where I can mentally or on a piece of paper with a pencil 'explode, rotate and re-assemble ' the entire car. its crazy. all I want to do is drive it. today its really rainy, so I can't and I am like feeling wrong.

Sadly, i have the vin number to my husbands charger memorized as well.  I knew when marrying him, i would be marrying the charger as well. 
its ok cuz the Charger is one sexy beast and I respect the Charger.

So, why don't you drive your charger in the rain? 

1: here on the coast, the rain is chock full of salty sea mist...corrosive man.
2. my car is uh,,,a little 'torquey' and tends to want to spin around in circles when the streets are slick.
3. the back end is primer and absorbent....

I don't talk to the car in front of my wife anymore because she gets upset but the Charger doesn't get jealous when I talk to my wife, so which one is more secure?

I have the majority of my VINs memorized, as well as most of the fender tag option codes.  The 1969-70 option codes on the fender tags are easier for me to remember than the earlier ones.  Guess I am lucky that I never could find a correct buildsheet for any of them or that would be numbers fodder for me to remember too.  Kinda sad to realize that whenever I go to car shows and see another 1968-70 Charger, I immediately start backcalculating in my head how close of a VIN relative the car is to one of mine.  Yes, you could say I am a bit numbers obsessive/compulsive......

I've got a serious problem, I got 4 exams (chemistry,analogue electronics,systems engineering and reg.systems) coming up in the next two weeks, and all I can think about is going out and work on my charger!

Hey who says that memorizing VIN's is a sickness? If so then man am I sick in the head. I think that I'd probably venture to say I'm carrying around VIN number to around 350 cars in my head at all times, and would be pretty good at repeating their full fender tag information on about 50-60 of those cars. Yeah okay so I guess that is a little sick isn't it?

Now as far as thinking about cars? Well I wanted to name my son Daytona, but the wife nixed that one.
