Just curious, anyone here a NutriSystem member ?

:icon_smile_question:

I've been on-again/off-again with them for a while - after a bad breakup with the ex-fiance in 2004 I fell into a depressive state that almost finished me off... started N.S. in 2005 at 385 lbs and got down to 255 lbs in 2007 while rebuilding the General Lee and quit N.S.  A year passes and I'm now 295 lbs so I've re-started the N.S., check out my progress:

bull

Not me but I found a system that works pretty good. I call it the "stop eating so much and get off your butt and exercise" diet. :2thumbs:

LOL..Bull...yeah..that works too...

My Ex did it a long time ago, it worked but as soon as she went back to a regular diet the weight slowly came back...

bull is right on.  No such thing as a diet.  You have to make a lifestyle change, which I just did 3 weeks ago.  It's not easy at first but becomes very addicting when you lose a few pounds.  Nutrisystem is a waste of money. :Twocents:

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

terrible one

Awww man! Haha dude when I was like 14 I was always kickin' it with this one friend of mine and his mom had the whole Nutrisystem thing. She didn't really seem to lose weight, but that's not the point! That shit is NASTY! Dude, you can't make it taste good! We would try so many things man. Their waffles . . . I'll always remember.  :eek2:

Hmm, high salt content:

"The sodium content of a typical day of NutriSystem foods, including the added grocery items, averages 1800 mg. The recommended Daily Value for sodium is 2400 mg. so your NutriSystem program is below the recommended amount."
