In this case, your car decodes as blue lower, blue upper, white interior and white upper door frame going across that row from left to right.  Does that make more sense?

snagm, here's how your fender tag decodes (it is read from left to right, and from the bottom line up):

E61  383 2bbl engine
D32  727 Automatic Transmission
XP29  Base model Charger, Sports Hardtop
G  383-2bbl engine
  9  1969 Model Year
    G  St. Louis Assembly Plant
261560  VIN sequence number
B5  Medium Blue Metallic exterior body paint color
B5  Medium Blue Metallic exterior body paint color
C  Charger trim grade
  6  Vinyl bucket seats
    W  White vinyl seats
W1  Upper door frame paint color
506  May 6, 1969 Scheduled Production Date
240052  Special Order Number (a/k/a Vehicle Order Number)
A01  Light Group
B51  Power Drum Brakes (might also be power disc brakes, as I don't remember if the St. Louis plant always coded B41 as well as B51 for disc brakes like Hamtramck did)
C16  Center Console
C55  Bucket Seats
H51  Air Conditioning
L31  Hood-mounted turn signals
M21  Body belt mouldings
M31  Driprail mouldings
R11  AM Radio - MusicMaster 2-watt
V1W  White Vinyl Roof
26   26" Radiator
END  Duh...

I need to check a few things out on Monday when I get access to a couple of resource books to confirm a few things (did this from memory, but I think it's right) and to list out what the Light Group contains.  If you haven't already, make sure you register with Chris (Just_6T9_CHGR) and the 1969 Charger Registry.  His site has all the details on options, etc.

A01 light group was a glovebox light, a map light, an ashtray light, trunk light, hood mounted turn signal indicators, ignition switch lamp (timed), and a glovebox lock.  There might be more, I'm trying to do it by memory too but mine is foggier than Geno's.
