I need to change the float in my gas tank on my 73 Charger...How hard is it to pull out? I can jack the car up and let the suspention drop and get to it correct? Make sure the tank is close to empty and then what? Is it a locking ring I have to take out? Do I have to vent the tank? Take any other hoses off? I want to try soon because I'm layed off and have the time now...HHHAHAHA...Thanks

if its like a 68 tank, just the ground wire and the fuel supply line gets removed and then you take a screwdriver and hammer and tap the lock ring counter clockwise to loosen and then pull the whole sending unit out.
