yes a car show in wichita kansas ,  I was wearing the  same shirt in both pictures , the one with the hood open was this year in lawrence Ks. on the cruise across kansas with dc.com members RD jamie and  The 70 R/T dennis 

    one more with the birdible & lebaron convert's

went to store wayne perkins newly painted charger 500 away today . Stopped by and checked on the progress on the crispy 69 hemi clone . They have tons of new blue interior on ordered ,dont have it all yet.

Not for sure but there was a can shaped object sitting on one of the seats.  Gas can ?

yeah hemi , tremec 5 speed and dana with disc brakes.  He got 85 k settlement from the insurance company .    But did he gas it  ?

Power comes in from the batt, to the ign switch, through the ammeter & back out to the battery

Not true. Battery power comes in from fuse link off the starter relay goes through the bulkhead comes in to the ammeter passes through the ammeter and comes out and goes to a splice where it then feeds the ignition switch, brake warning switch, fuse panel, and alternator.

The amp gauge is a known fire hazard....many cars have had the same thing happen. Best way to avoid this problem is to convert to a voltage gauge. I know when I have mine done this winter that is what I'm going to do.....

I sent mine in a couple weeks ago and they called a couple days ago and asked If I wanted it converted to volts and I went ahead and said go ahead and do it. It will cost me a extra 75 though.

sitting at the body shop waiting on the guy to get motivated .  They are out in the middle of nowhere kansas so they dont have too many options . Also only so many body shops know how to handle a burnt cars sheet metal .
