Hi all!

This is my first real post and I just wanted to say hello and share a video of the 505ci stroker I just built for my 68 Charger.  It was a long and somewhat frustrating road (partly because I thought it would be a good idea to rewire the whole car as well) but after 3 months of work, hearing it fire up made everything worth it.  There is something about putting every piece of an engine together from top to bottom that makes you love your car that much more.  I still have to get the exhaust couplings welded on but other than that I cant wait to get it back on the road.

Very nice. It was a smart idea to rewire the car.

Oh, and welcome to the site.

Thanks!  I forgot to mention how crucial this site was for collecting information when I was stuck at certain points (more times than I would like to admit).  Without all your posts three months would have turned into forever!

Welcome.
The car sounds good. Did you have much troubleshooting for the new wiring and new engine? Was it factory wiring replacement or did you go with Painless Wiring? What size Eddy carb is on there? A 850 proform was what was recommended for my 470 stroker.
The problem now is its almost time to put it away for the winter unless you're one of the lucky ones.

PA Dodger:  it's actually an Eddie Performer RPM 800cfm which I'm curious to see how it does on the street.  As far as the wiring I used the Ron Francis Retro Series WR-95 which I was extremely happy with.  The wires were all very well labelled and the directions were simple but adequate to do the job.  It didn't come with many of the connectors but for the price it's really hard to beat.

I live in southern California so luckily I won't have to garage her too many days!

Thanks for the replies all!  I'm taking it to the exhaust shop today after work to get everything welded up and get some O2 sensor plugs welded in for future tuning.  I can't wait to start cruising it around!

RKCHARGER - Trust me, I was pretty terrified too!
