Need your help guys. I was talking to my wife and asked her this same question, she said space aliens are our biggest threat, I think she's wrong...after all there wouldn't be all those zombie movies if it weren't a real!

Thanks for voting!

I say zombies. humans are far too stupid to not mess with things and if zombies happen, you can bet some scientist somewhere will have been behind it.

aliens would just watch us and laugh.

BigBlackDodge

Aliens cause Zombies more so slooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwww. You can see them coming at you for a week at least.........Aliens fly in at lightspeed and zap you. :yesnod:

I've seen it happen many times. :rotz:

I'd have to agree with BigBlack on this one. If you see zombies comin at you you would have more than enough time to blow 'em away. Aliens could sit right back light years away and blow us away with their death rays and we wouldnt even see it coming.

Well there are fast moving Zombies...hypothetically. But the intent of the poll is which is more likely to HAPPEN Zombie attack or space invasion

bull

Can't you find a zombie picture that is more lame than that one? :rotz:

More likely? I'd say zombification is more likely than alien life. But by the time the zombies take over, humanity will have De-evolved to the point that there with be no real distinction between the undead and the really dumb.

Mike DC

What if we got invaded by aliens, wasted them all . . . and then they crawled back out of the ground as ALIEN ZOMBIES?

I got to go with the zombie.  They scare the living daylights out of me.  Just the site can relocate your scalp on the back of your neck somewhere. :scared:

Besides, all I need for an alien is a tin foil hat and a super soaker.  They hate water.

I need a loaded gun for a zombie and ammo ain't cheap.

1BAD68

Definately zombie's, they need to feed on fresh brains which makes them violent and prone to attacking.
Even if there were aliens, there's nothing we have that they would want so they might be content to just observe us, like watching animals in a zoo.

Yeah, yeah.........movie Zombies move fast. That's because they speed up the camera and use other special effects when filming them. :slap:

The real ones though are slow, really slow. Their muscle tissue is breaking down at a high rate, so they just can't mechanicaly move fast...it's a proven scientific fact. :icon_smile_big:

what about a 28 days later scenario?  :shruggy:

BigRed66

I honestly think a small pack of aliens could wipe out an entire continent full of zombies in a solitary afternoon. The aliens are far more technologically advanced, and have been planning a takeover of our planet for literally centuries, anyhow, so the zombies would go down hard and fast. Besides, zombies eat flesh. Human flesh. Alien flesh (not really flesh, anyway. More like a petroleum-esque, silicone-ish type of material) reportedly tastes like shit, so the zombies would starve to death. My hard earned greenbacks are on the Area 51 fellows.  :Twocents:

71EV2RT

This thread is hilarious!! I would have to agree that the Aliens would definately  defeat an entire army of Zombies. The aliens that I have seen have very large brains on the outside of their skulls, and that would be very tempting bait for the average Zombie, but the Aliens are just smarter (and have ray guns). Zombies are idiots, IMO.

TheGhost

Zombies.

Why?

Because I doubt aliens could give a rats ass about our little species, and to think otherwise is pretty arrogant of us.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

2much2learn

the question is not "which is smarter?" its "whats most likely to happen?"  i agree on the aliens mopping the floor with the zombies but i believe the zombie scenario is more probable..plus the zombies are already dead so how do you kill them? :shruggy: and if they need to eat then they are still alive and would involve a "28 days later" or a " I AM LEGEND" scenario like i mentioned before :scratchchin:

Oops, Sorry. Somehow the topic got changed to Aliens vs. Zombies. As far as which is more likely to happen, Zombies don't really exsist, Aliens do.

Neither. Russians are most likely threat. I wonder why they stopped making stupid movies with the same plot where Russians kidnap U.S. president, etc. etc.

Heh, for obvious reasons I could not resist the Christian aspects of this question... the ultimate answer to that quesion would be our lusty flesh devouring zombie nature (our souls/spirits are all aliens anyway) Ill use these scriptures to explain my answer:

"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth..." Gen. 1:1

"And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over ... all the earth... So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them (so there were other females before Eve?)." Gen. 1:26,27

"And the LORD God caused a deep sleep (alien abduction?) to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs (dna extraction from the rib?), and closed up the flesh instead thereof; And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man." Gen. 2:21,22,23

Skip a few thousand years and a lot of interventions by "wheel within a wheel with eyes round about (ufo? read Ezekiel)" a higher power that can call fire from heaven and Jesus comes along stating:

"In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." John 14:2,3,4,6

And in Revelation we are given the discription of our true home:

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal. And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel. And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.  And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it. And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there. And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it. And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." Rev. 21:1-27

So with all that being said, since we are all aliens anyway, the most likely threat is zombies (unless there are zombie aliens?)!
