Excuse my noobness but what is there to rebuild on a k member? I thought you just blast them and coat them, assuming they're still good and not rusted out??

Like Finn said, theres nothing to rebuild. You just disassemble the suspension, unbolt, drop, blast, paint, etc. Then you put all your new stuff on. I had little extra welding done to mine, to stiffen it.

They are probably referring to the lower control arm(LCA)
bushings. :Twocents:
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

You are most likely thinking of 73 and later cars that use a rubber isolator on the K member like a Chevy camaro or nova...    no your 68 does not use them

Yeah all those extra suspension bushings started appearing in 73. I just finished a 74 sattelite and 74 charger. I was suprised how many bushings were added to these cars compared to my 71 charger.
8 bushings on the k-fram and 4 on the torsion bar frame rail. Hven't driven the 74 charger yet as its still getting work but the Satellite sure is a smooth ride.

I like to rebuild my front suspension while K-Frame on a stand. LEON.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
