Supercharged 440 build

Im looking to have my 440 built up. I plan on running centrifugal supercharger on it. I need suggestions what I should get for it.
So far Ive got street dominator intake and 850cfm speed demon carb. For heads Im going with Eddie performer rpm 88cc, headers TTI 2"
I have no idea what pistons to get, crank etc. Just know that I need internals forged since its gonna be boosted and I plan on running higher boost later on with water injection. For right now I just need engine done until Ive got money for supercharger. I am gonna take 440 to machine shop to work on it, once its out.
Drivetrain: 727 stock, rear 8 3/4 3.23
Car will be mostly street driven, occasional weekend strip racing

Actually, if you ask Ken, I think his build was good, it was a shifty machinist who did him in.

I havent found his build data, besides this 440 will be built different since its centrifugal s/c not roots which puts more stress on internals compared to centrifugal.

Aside from not going overboard in compression and choosing a cam profile dedicated to blowers, I don't think you need too much more internally than a regular performance build.  Like anything, it depends how wild you want to go.  Are you planning to run lots of boost or just enough to make life fun?

 Silver R/T, as far as the roots being harder on the 440 than the centrifugal, may on the crank. Boost is boost.

If budget is not a problem I would look at Ross Blower Pistons, they are a round $750.00. Little steep for my budget.

I used L2266F speed pro pistons, with 30 over and 88 CC heads and 40 head gaskets should be around 8.88 to 1. Little high but will be fine to 10 PSI.

I used Main Studds, main griddle would be better
YL Rods polished, shoot peened, harden and APR Bolts
Felpro 1009 head gaskets
APR Head Bolts
HVLP Oil Pump and 9 quart pan
Heads, you will want to use a 1.810 stainless steel exhaust valves due heat. Not sure what Eddys use. Head work is not that important with the motor undre pressuer. If any work done, do it on the exhast side.
Blower cam is a biggie, I used a Reed cam, here is there number and ask for Dennis. He is from the old site 770-474-7320. He was dushbag.
Blower motors makes more heat, I went with a Aluminum cross flow.

Remember, stock 440 blocks will only take 700 HP then they blow the main web out. If the numbers I where given where right I was on the border at 685 HP.

Make sure you have a good shop do the work and give you a print out of what the pistons to walls clearnces is! Looks like that what hurt mine. One of the speed pro pistons where miss marked, it was 10 over not 30 over. But they just stuck it in anyway. Also same piston one of the rod bolts backed off.

Damn Ken, aside from the cam and rods you and I have almost the same engine except I also used head studs. Pain in the ass though.
