You must not have read the thread.....he has a guy doing his work. The shop he has practically restored the whole car. Have you seen his paint  :o

Oh the paint on JB666  car is by far the best ever!!!   Probably the nicest General Lee anywhere!!!   A lot nicer than mine  that's for sure!!!
I have seen this car many times now, and it really is high end flawless!  that is fact. Its not the GL factor only that makes it cool for so many people but the quality and depth of the work really has to be seen in daylite to believed...and then there's the hemi!!!.....o checck that BLOWN HEMI !!!      WOW.

jb666

Here are a few more shots, courtesy of Jon... I am simply amazed at the work he's doing.. .From the gas tank to the front bumper....  :drool5:

The gas tank needed to be modified, but that was no problem for him:

Check out these welds!!

More coming soon...

Awesome  :drool5: The way your going this car is gonna be remembered for along time, especially if something big happened with BK. You might be able to retire off the proceeds if you don't kill your self first   :drive:

Here are a few more shots I took today... I was in awe over the quality of the work going on here.. NOTHING on this install has been "bolt on". Everything's needed cutting, trimming and fabricating... The first shot you can barely tell the tank was modified! No sump hanging down...

Thanks! There's still quite a bit to do... Cap off the tubing that was cut. Power steering, new fuel lines, new ignition controller, gauges, and some other minor details. My level of excitement shot through the roof today when I saw this in person.

Thanks!!

As for the tubing, it'll just be capped right there... There's no need to add to it since it's doing nothing as it is...

We looked at the "weld" closer. I'll post a pic later, but there was more BONDO "welding" it to the frame than actual weld...

Well, it's done!!

Here's the initial fire-up.. The car is not tuned/dyno'd yet.. That's first thing tomorrow.. This was LITERALLY 10 seconds after it's first fire-up since the install..

Oh what a thing of beauty.. I am amazed at how tight this thing is in there...

Plug wires need to be shortened, and a couple of other odds and ends, but here's another teaser shot..

And here he is, on the dyno...

Nailed 700HP at the crank. It's tuned perfectly to be safe and reliable on the street. It's pushing 8PSI boost and will run low 10's WITH THE PUSH BAR ON all day long. Unfortunately, THAT video will have to wait till Spring.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

, don't know much about these set ups  ,  but seriously thinking about getting one some day ! maybe  :scratchchin:  :yesnod:  , forgive me if im talking rubbish !! ( would not be the first time  :shortbus:)  isnt it a good idea/ should you should  have !!  a blowoff/bleed valve , on the incomming air to the carb   !! so when you take you foot out of  the throttle !! the pressurised air has somewhere to go ))) the throttle blades would be closed while the supercharger is still pushing boosed  (pressured air) to the carb :scratchchin:
