That makes me wanna know exactly how many pieces are on a car. Not sure which one actually has more pieces, now as far as special pieces, well the Superbird has more than a 500. Although if you break it down by nuts and bolts, I don't think it would be a huge difference.

Actually I think I have those two documents, as far as what goes on a Superbird. I was more or less saying I don't know which car has more pieces total. I was more or less just being a wise ass, and having a good time. We all know I prefer the 500 and Daytona over the Superbirds. Don't get me wrong though I'd take a Superbird over almost any other cars though. I gotta admit any one of the 5 AERO cars rank higher than just about any other cars, with a few odd ball exceptions.

I believe that the conversion package for the Daytona is outlined in a 119 page document as well. makes for some nice reading. Heck the paper for approving the lights for the nose cone on a Daytona is quite a lengthy pile of papers as well.

In actuality there is nothing wrong with someone saying that your opinion is incorrect. That is after all why it is an opinion, and not a stated fact. In my opinion that car isn't 1/1,000th as good looking as a real Superbird. And that is coming from a guy who prefers the 500's over the Superbirds, and I know that doug will  me for saying that one.

opinions about opinions aside, THAT abortion is OK for MCG but the restoration of the blue/red superbird isn't?

Granted a Bird does have three things that a 500 doesn't. 1) A WING 2) A NOSE CONE 3) A WIN AT DAYTONA 500.

Other than that, not much going for it other than a nice big Cartoon character and a nice horn. 

don't forget Talladega, too!   

it's a shame marketing got locked out of the 500 and Daytona--imagine how much weirder the birds would have been then!
