  Thanks!
Some other suggestions so far have been...
Chicken wings, Beef or Pork Ribs, Spicey Sausages, Steamed Brocoli.
I really like the chili idea, and the hot dogs are an obvious and maybe too easy suggestion..
It's supposed to be warming up on Thursday when I'm making it up and there's a beautiful outdoor porch overlooking the city and the bay... so i'm thinking maybe I'll do a picnic style dinner and have potato salad to start...

if you go with the chili, make sure you also have some corn bread handy.

Bacon makes everything better.
And the more cheese the better.

Any way you go, a nice baby arugula salad on the side is a nice combination with mac n cheese.

But add onions too. We just had that last night :drool5:

Sometimes though, I'll add a can of green beans, potato's, corn, carrots, shredded bacon along with the ground beef and onions to make a yummy casserole. You can mix it all up, put it in a greased 13x9 baking pan, cover it with shredded cheddar cheese, and bake for 30 min at 350.

Thank You All, great stuff,.. 'n Via facebook Laine Dore AKA Physic Pup sent me this recipe...

"Melt some butter in a saucepan ...add enough PLAIN flour to make very solid mass - take off heat NOW! ...... or sooner.
add enough milk to free the spoon....add more milk but just a little...whisk/stir till all blended...................then ruin it by adding MORE milk - about half way up the pan or slightly 2/3rds more than your original mix.......  Read Moreloose sloopy milk flour mix is what you are aiming for..(shame halloweens gone..) heat gently stirring all the time - YES. only starting to bubble all over reduce heat & stir occasionally.
ok thats the white sauce ........... to that add your cheese & macaroni & bake til your too hungry".

Man, I can't stand mac and cheese.  Homemade is fine with elbows, real cheese, maybe some ham, etc... (and it doesn't cost that much more to buy the real ingredients) but that box crap is just that, crap IMO. Must be childhood scars :-\

anyway, check this thread out and please add to it if you like. it has been dormant for a while.
mods, feel free to merge as well.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Here in Wisconsin, there are a few gas stations (the ones with kitchens in them), that sell breaded deep fried mac & cheese nuggets. All I can say is MMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!!! :drool5:

I also seen a C.C.'s Pizza place that sells mac & cheese pizza's. I want to try one of them if they build one around here.

put a lot of spinach in the water as you boil the noodles,  boil all that,  then rinse a can of albacore,  make the mac and cheese with sharp cheddar grated in and stir til melted, add the milk and butter and the albacore and stir up,  nutritious and yummy,

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.
