I already got my home defense system.  Taurus 357 mag (seven shot) with enough rounds to last the rest of my life. :2guns:

I checked and my 608 Taurus .357 has 8 shots, the Smith & Wesson .357 has 7 shots, don't know the model number.

If anyone breaks into my house, I'll just stun 'em with my bad-assness and then I will finally kill them with my ninja mind powers.

I got another 1000 rounds for the Ruger 44
and another 1000 rounds of the AK bullets also.

America must be ready, we are the caretakers of our freedom and our constitution.

Not only that but the Zombie Apocalypse is right around the corner too.

Better get that umbrella ready too...you know...for when the sky falls.

Jesus people...The United States of America has survived two major wars with a superpower, one of the worst civil wars in the history of the world, a depression which lasted over a decade, a major environmental catastrophe (the dust bowl), countless recessions and God-knows-what else.

We'll be fine.  Why don't you give the new president a chance.  Hell...even Karl Rove said it.

Oh, and lets not forget the two wars that were fought with the most powerful nation on earth...right at the beginning of our history as a nation.

Thanks for more of your pointless comments and ignoring my request to keep things firearm related, orange crush.

Hey...Bull brought up the Zombies...not me!

Besides, lets not kid ourselves.  I believe that most of the people on this board are smart enough to know WHY everyone is stocking up and what point you are trying to make with this thread.  If that's NOT the point you were trying to make, you would've called out the two or three other people who made not-so-oblique comments about the upcoming administration (yourself included).

I think it's great that the taxes on ammo is about to skyrocket.  I figure they should charge about $30.00 for every bullet.

That way when people start shooting their guns at each other they'll take the time to aim properly and not waste any expensive bullets killing innocent bystanders.

Drache

In canada we need to register our firearms and have to have a license to buy ammo! That way the government knows what guns you have and what you buy ammo for!

IE If you are buying 9mm ammo and yet you only have a .308 the government knows....  :rotz:

It is our right to own guns and ammo. I feel safer with a loded 9 in my dresser  and a loaded ready to go shot gun behind my bedroom door. Come intrude in my house and get peppered. :icon_smile_tongue:
Do not come to me asking to borrow a gun when you need one and do not have it. :Twocents:

I live in a neighbourhood where people don't go into other peoples homes and take things without asking.

Do you have a bomb shelter in your backyard?

Mike DC

Yeah, Democrats are about to take our guns away.

Just like the Republicans outlawed abortions as soon as they got into control last time.

It's true.  Every election year, all the national laws on all the major wedge issues always change overnight.  It happens as soon as the other side gets into office on the day after the election is held.

::)

Rant off.  I'm leaving before this gets locked now.   :nana:

I'm in North Alabama and the places that sell Guns and Ammo are having good days right now. On a steady incline since a good bit BEFORE the election.

I think the people taht are buying guns right now are the intelligent ones. That's ALL I'm going to say about it.

moparguy01

do you honestly think taxing the crap out of us LAW ABIDING gun owning citizens is a good solution to gun control? Wow. Absolutely incredible. I have a website for you to look at. http://www.assaultweaponwatch.com/
check it each day and see all the incredible killing going on with the assault weapon. You know the British taxed the crap out of us all once, we threw their crap into the harbor. Do you honestly think this will end differently?

I just ask you to think about that one, think about our history, the history of the United States, and then remember one thing, Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Do we want a repeat of that particular portion of our history? I'd rather not.

BigRed66

I love all these pollyannas daisy-tripping around in their flowery, flowing caftans thinking all is right with the world, that their neighborhood (no "u", thanks very much) is the safest around, and that we NRA folks and gun-rights advocates are all off our rockers. What the f%#k ever. You come into MY house at 1 a.m., or anytime, for that matter, without my permission, and I don't know you, I am going to shoot you, and if I've done it properly, I am most likely going to kill you. Come in my house, I got a l'il somethin' for you.

Funny, all the liberals who are forcing our hands into this stockpiling effort, are the same ones who either want to abolish the 2nd Amendment, or THEIR government has their noses planted so far up their collective asses, that they feel the United States should follow suit. Sorry. BigRed ain't a'gonna roll that way, brother. Eat lead, salute my Flag, here's your toe tag. The End.

P.S. I can retrofit most 1st, 2nd and 3rd Gen Chargers with roof-mounted turrets. I can do the 2.2L models, also, but, number one, that's not a real Charger, and two, due to weight restrictions, I can only equip it with an aluminum turret and M-60, as opposed to the steel and M2 .050 cal for the 1-2-3 Gens. Hole saw sold separately. Lemme know; they're going fast.

"Let me explain something to you, um i am not Mr. Lebowski, you're Mr. Lebowski. I'm the dude, so that's what you call me. That or his dudeness, or duder, or you know, el duderino if you're not into the whole brevity thing."
