I was at Mopars at the Strip this year & I saw a solid state dimmer switch but I can't remember the company.  Can anyone help me on this?

Ghoste

Forgive my ignorance, but what makes a dimmer switch "solid state"?

SHARP68

Just like the solid state voltage limiters for the gauges it uses a resistor type setup.  The whole wire wheel & contact were eliminated.

Do you mean a dimmer switch to replace the flaky roller switch for the interior / dash lights?

Okay, I get it now,  I was thinking of the dimmer switch on the floor. :brickwall:  I still can't answer your question but I do thank you for answering mine.

It is charger specialties that has it I talked to them it isn't solid state but their own design that uses a different kind of rheostat he said it is more accurate than the originals & yes it is the panel dimmer on the dash.
