The New Ram Looks Awesome

One of my neighbors owns 10 car dealers in the north jersey area. Yesterday I noticed a Copper Dodge Ram in his driveway. Wow it looks great. The rear bumper with the cutouts really pulls off the look. They usually have an SRT-8 Jeep and Escalade. Has anybody else seen one yet?

Yup that's it. I could get pictures but the truck is at least 150ft away, I don't think I'll make it. I'm waiting for him to bring home a new Chally.

I agree, It looks fantastic, especially in the upmarket trim. I had started a thread about when it was first previewed early this year, I'm not a truck guy, but it totally blew me away.

It is a great truck, in fact a lot of the Chrysler line is strong in my opinion.  Thats part of why it troubles me so much they are being sold off.  It just seems like if they could hang in a little longer until the markets come back, they'd be poised to take a lot of market share.

I like the looks of the new truck too, but right now they're only offering it in 1500 (1/2 ton) versions.  That won't cut it for me in my line of work.  Do they have an ETA on when the revamped 2500 and 3500 models will be available?

My neighbor is a saleman at the local Dodge dealer and he brought one of the club cabs home the other night.  I was doing yard work and he threw me the keys and told me to take it for a cruise.  I love that truck.  Awesome ride, real smooth, super nice interior and plenty of hemi power and looks great.  I had fun!!  Way out of my price range though.

I'm patiently awaiting the 2500 & 3500 trucks as well. They won't be out until the 2010 model year, though. And, from what I hear they won't look anything like the 1500-series trucks.    Seems that Dodge, like Ford/GM, wants to visually separate the 1500 trucks from the 2500/3500 trucks.

You might want to check out ford's offering of the 150's for 2009.  Don't look much different than the heavy duties.

I took a new 2009 Ram 4 door 4x4 in Detonator Yellow for a drive.Very impressive truck.They have ALL the gadgets plus more than you could ever think of.The ride is very nice,HEMI performance very strong.Truly THE truck that all others will be judged by now.
