3/8" drive air impact vs. cordless electric impact

I need to get a new 3/8" drive impact wrench and I'm thinking about dropping the big cash for an Ingersoll Rand composite gun like this one, http://www.irtools.com/IS/product.aspx-en-29288, but first I wanted to ask around about the cordless impact guns. Do any of you guys own a cordless impact and how do you like it compared to an air impact gun? I doubt anything is going to touch the torque rating on that IR impact but are the electric impact guns pretty ballsy or are they gutless? I just don't know anyone who owns one or I wouldn't bother you all with it.

Thanks.

I have a 3/8" cordless....not the best, but capable of around 75 lbs of torque....won't take off lug nuts or head bolts, but just about all the other small fasteners with a 9/16" head or smaller.

Battery lasts about a year, new battery is around $40.00

You can get better brands, but the price goes up.....Snap-On sells a couple of good ones, rather pricey.

Guess it al depends on where you are gonna use it...if air access is an issue, cordless is the best bet.
