Here's an example of what I think is the right car that one just can't pass up:  I think the guy got it for $20,000.  What a deal.  All original '68 Charger R/T.  What a find.  Here's the original post:  http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,10525.0/all.html

20 grand is a score on that car, worth a lot more than that IMO.
But how often do you see a car like that for sale?
Its not realistic to wait around for a car like that, and at a price near that.  I guess that deal shows its possible, though.

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

maybe its not worth a lot more because its a column shift,  but 38K original miles, that's rare

hey, is there a 67 coronet 500 model?   I think there was one around a couple of years ago, white with red interior and a 383 and AT column, bench seat.   one of the doors was dented in badly, bench seat was covered, piece of trim missing, other than that looked original, was asking $3500.

I remembered I saved that into my cell phone, didn't ever erase, I have that phone number in my cell phone under "coronet67". heh,   wonder if he has the car anymore, who knows, he only drove around with a for sale sign in window far as I know.  206-218-4693  :icon_smile_wink:

Absolutely, and they sold well. They had a wider body side molding than the 440, a unique grill, and the same tail-lamp/tail panel design from the R/T.  All 500's had bucket seats with either have a console or buddy seat.

Sorry for Hijack.
