Hi, have i put  my engine ground cable in the right place ? This is where it was before the rebuild but i've seen cars with it fixed to that hole in the head.

I've always seen it attached at the empty hole in the right head.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

That's where I've always seen it.
Sixty-eights look great and the '69 is fine.

This is obviously an old topic, but I have a question relating to it.  Where on the firewall is a good place to attach that ground wire to?  I just put my 440 in the car and don't know where the ground wire is supposed to go to?  Anbody got a picture?

Depending on the year.Battery ground is on top of return spring bracket. The body ground wire is part of the 70 cable and goes to the core support in front of the battery.

Generally goes next to where the ballast resistor & VR  mounts

and now that this is back on the charts.  I know of one rover that exists cause we have one in the back 40.  My boss said his uncle was gonna crush it a few months ago so I told him to go get it.  So there it sits all green and ugly and half disassembled.  All there though if anyone is interested.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
