Hey gang...
Well, as many of you may know, I've been on a lil' quest for sometime to find my old v-code '70 Charger R/T.... Well, I haven't turned anything up on "it" lately other than it's part of some collector's menu in Dallas... But, I have located a few v-codes and I havemade a deal with a fella with, get this, it's an EW1 one, like my old one and built on the same date as my old one... 710 (July 10th), last day of production.. His seqence is slightly bigger than my old one........... Soooooooooooo, I think I'll have a six pack Charger R/T again !!!!  I'll be putting my '70 4bbl Charger R/T up for sale soon after I get the new one home..... It'll cover the extra dinero I had to pillage.. lol

Gotta guy who gave me an offer and I countered last night.. Either way, I think I'll have that deal settled by tonight.... One way or another..........Cool thing about it is the fella is about 2 miles from me and there'll be no hassle.. Car's even still on the trailer. All I have to do is hook up the truck and take it over there.. Even cleaned it out for him and verified it IS an InViolet car, contrary to some "expert" opinions.. I love it when I'm right.... :D
Funny how this all works.. Wasn't even looking for a 'Cuda and next thing you know, I'm on the verge of getting a 6bbl Charger R/T again...... Man, my collection, to me, will be complete !!!!   except of course, for that Daytona.......

I'll chroncile all this for the masses..... :)

The biggest difference between this car and my old one is the interior color and this one's a console auto whereas mine was "originally" column automatic. I changed it to a floor console around '86, a year after I had the car....

Don't forget the pics after this whole deal goes down. :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

I thought you had a white 70 Charger 6 pack that was in Car Review or was that some other member?

Great news Troy. My only question then is how much will you drive this 70 now, and park the 500? Or when the 68 gets finished which one will you drive the most?

any good leads on a Daytona lately? I've been chasing a few, but to no avail. As usual everytime I hear of a Daytona it winds up being a Superbird. But hey at least they know it has a wing.

NO, no leads on Daytonas yet.. If the hemi isn't everything I thought it was going to be, I was interested in trading the Hemi Charger for a Daytona... project for project or done for done......  Who knows........

As far as driving, not sure, but I'll probably drive the '70 more often to work on nice days, show the C500 at mopar shows and well, the hemi, I'll drive it. My wife will probably drive the hemi to shows in which I drive the C500.. The hemi's an auto and she'll be more comfortable with that....

Cool, i remember you wanted your white '70 back, how lucky is it to find a white six-pack Charger in your area. Dude, if it doesn't work out, i'll sell you mine and you can paint it white.  :icon_smile_big:

Big,,
Well, the 70 I found is nowhere near me.... It's about a day and half away... but, that's ok..... It's only a weekend out of my life to go get the six pack Charger I've always wanted back.. It may not be my actual one, but man, can't get much closer than same exterior color and build date.. lol

I would have loved to buy yours, but it was always financially out of reach..... How much were you looking to get?........

I dont know, what are people asking on ebay? $40,000-$75,000
My Charger....The good news...mine is a real V code, 440-6 auto, A32, Dana 4.10, disc brake, F8,F8,F8, new everything, qtrs, trunk, all elec, fuel, eng, trans, everything.
The bad news...The non-matching 440 engine (at least it's a date code correct F440 HP2 built 11-11-69) The salvage title, i bought it from a classic Chrysler only salvage yard, never wrecked, just had lower qtr. rust issues. The 1998 paint job has minor cracks so it's not show quality any longer, but it still looks great. And to really finish this car, the black interior and black vinyl top need to be green again. I bought it in 1990 because of the fact that it was an R/T with a dana and disc brakes, the future six-pack value and the salvage title didn't matter back then.
I dont know what ebay would bring on the Six-pack Charger, whatta ya think, i know a non console 4 speed 70 R/T driver/project and cash would get my attention.
