After only a short time on this site, I have seen several members that list multiple Aero cars.

Talk about rubbing salt in the wound!!! LOL I have wanted just 1 for nearly 30 years and it seems everyone here has 2 or more!   :brickwall:

Is this a sickness?  Own one - gotta find another???   :eek2:

As rare as these cars are - there aren't enough to go around so we are building clones, and these guys have the nerve to own more than 1 !!!!!   :o :notworthy:

And a buddy of mine has 3 - you would THINK he had enough he could give me at least 1.

Ahh well --- ONE DAY my clone will be done!

I think most guys with multiple Aero cars bought them back in the 80's before they were rediculously expensive.

I have 1 clone in the making

  I did not buy any of them in the 70's or 80's

My buddy wayne perkins has   2 real daytona's
                                          1 real superbird
                                          1 real charger 500
                                          1 real taladega
                                          1 real cyclone spoiler II
                                     
                                          1 clone bird race car project 
2 or 3 70 charger bodys and vega hatchs ( future clone? race clone ? )

           my buddy dick & beverly drake( adopted mopar mom and dad) has three super birds  ( one hemi  bird )
                there son kyle drake has a six pac bird , and owned a now burnt to a crisp hemi 500



  My buddy randy morrison own a bird , daytona and charger 500 .

I have great friends all within an hour of my house

I Have my clone now I built. but I did own one back in the day when I had to give $1,000. and my Challenger for it. 440 6pack 4sp car. but it was burnt to the ground in mid 80s RM23V0A172639  :flame:

I used to - Now that I have one, I don't have enough cash to finish it and I wish I just had something driveable!!!


The pic is from back in its prime - before I owned it.

Now sanded to bare fiberglass and covered with dust. (no motor)

I've always wanted a nostalgia funny car or a sling shot dragster . not even to run . just to restore and keep on display in my garage . maybe run it once a year just for fun .  you got some nice toys   :2thumbs: I'm on old street racer and then drag strip racer from the 70's . i remember those old funny cars and front engine dragsters . there was a ton of them back then. Here's a couple of pics of my funny car that I owned when I was 19.
It's Dickie Harrell's 69 Camaro funny car that he won the world finals in.
In the pics it's sitting next to my flamed 69 Chevelle SS 396.
