What's it worth 68 charger /6-3tree

I know a friend who has found a 68 charger that hasn't ran since 1985.  The body seems to be in pretty decent shape.  Poor repaint in 1980 with a few small rust holes.  One rear frame rail where the spring mounts is rusted through.  Floors are in pretty decent shape.  So is trunk.  It is originally red with the white interior.  /6 car with the three speed on the tree.  Has original engine and tranny.  Has tag and title.   
  Any idea without pictures as to what the worth of a /6 car would be?

wow---i see that car has a california tag on it....

in october of 1967, we couldn't wait to see the new 1968 chargers...i went to Springfield Dodge in Springfield, Pennsylvania, came in the showroom side door, and there it was- a new 68 charger EXACTLY--EXACTLY like that one!!!!!

any chance that car came from pennsylvania? broadcast sheet or any indication it was produced in newark delaware?

Those look like original hubcaps, I wonder if the wheels came body color or were they repainted?
My estimate would be between 5 & 6 grand

I like it just the way it is. I don't know why, maybee because its a clean slate that hasn't been tampered with.

According to the tag posted it's a 225 slant six.

I am of the understanding that there were 904 slant six's in 1968.  Not that many for sure. 
  I like it because it is a /6 and has only had one repaint.  I would do it back up to it's original state.  Someone converted it to a floor shift but that is an easy change over.

I was noticing it didn't have the floor hump.

Aren't those wheel covers off a Plymouth? Never seen them on a Charger before.

As far as value I'd guess not much but as far as Rarety just ask yourself, when, if ever, have you seen a 6 cyl Charger! that car is probably on par with a Hemi R/T for rarety. I'd LOVE to buy that car just to "save it" from some one putting a 440 in it...we have enough of those already. I think that car would be a real show hit!
