The car is now at my grandparents house for a few weeks until I trailer it home during Spring Break. Got it running and damn it runs strong!!! Lots of pictures tomorrow night. :2thumbs:

It sounds good too with the headers and new exhaust :cheers: I cleaned out the trunk, starting tearing out the carpet and cleaning the seats and door panels.

You guys are gonna kill me.....I took over 100 pictures. In my rush to get to the ferry, I left my camera cord there. I'll try to get it ASAP but it will be a few weeks. :slap:

68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Cody, use a shop vac to vacuum up all the pine needles in the engine compartment and trunk jamb area ASAP... this causes serious rust. Also make sure you remove all rubber plugs, and clear out the lower fender area, and don't forget between the front door opening and cowl. Also clear out anywhere where water can settle from pine needle clogging (including removal of the door trim panels to vacuum the inside of the doors).....this is a serious rust issue waiting to happen! Looks like the floor is shot, and you may have already have a windshield leak due to drainage problems?  :shruggy: Whatever has rotted the floor needs to be fixed before you get new carpet.  :yesnod:

Otherwise, roll up your sleeves, and get to work on your first Major Mopar project!! We're proud of you son.  :2thumbs:

Floor pans. They are pretty good. The trunk is perfect, the rear pans are perfect too. There's just some holes in the front which are a pretty easy fix.









Fairly new exhaust. The frame is perfect.

Cool....brings back the memories. Looks like the car had a couple inches of water standing in it at one time. I would at least install fron floor pans.  :2thumbs:

Did you find anything interesting when you removed the seats and carpet?

Also, I never saw "plymouth" emblems on the front fenders like that. All 1973-1976 Dusters I've ever seen had the "Duster" emblem as on the tail panel.
