It's small enough to send without size restrictions so most shipping companies will take it. I would make sure it's packed well, but not so much as to prevent damage to the part, but more to make sure it doesn't destroy the package it's contained in. It's a heavy item that cardboard won't contain if it shifts inside & pushes the package apart from within. If it falls out, thats's when damages or it becomes a lost item without shipping info attached.

I've have an account with DHL & have had good experiences so far with their service. Less expensive than UPS & FedEx & no size restrictions like UPS.

I shipped a 4 speed cuda trans from Milwaukee to Phoenix for $72. Check out www.forwardair.com They have terminals in most major US cities. Imposible to beat the prices and it gets to the other party in a few days.

Daytona R/T SE

Stuff it in a plastic milk crate, (there should be a big stack of them behind the local grocery store ::) ) then put the whole works in a heavy cardboard box...

saran wrap it, then put it in a 5 gallon paint bucket and mail it that way.
