What more could you ask for?
Tons of nice reference pictures, all in focus, and an R/T SE to boot!
I actually got a cramp in my hand grabbing all the shots!
(No mind to the critter in the last pic...)

Man, that's a real beauty! :drool5:
I love subtle resto-mod's like that, it really looks well thought out & clean. :coolgleamA:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Love the 3x9,real nice ,quality car, just don't care for the white stripe.,six pack, and after market brake booster/master.

Charger-Bodie

It does appear to be a nice Charger BUT there are definitely a fair amount of details overlooked.....Non painted panel bolts (fenders etc.)...engine bolts not painted and regular hardware store stuff......cast iron paint on the hood hinges....no name heater hoses....scuzzy wiper motor...lots more hardware store bolts(one of my biggest pet peeves).....tail stripe AND emblems.........
68 Charger R/t white with black v/t and red tailstripe. 440 4 speed ,black interior
68 383 auto with a/c and power windows. Now 440 4 speed jj1 gold black interior .
My Charger is a hybrid car, it burns gas and rubber............

Looks good (but missed a few details) - ofcourse it should since they spent $65k on it... I'm surprised they didn't run it through Barret-Jackson.

If mine looks an eighth that good I will be completely stoked  :drool5:

i dont think they were going for the "concourse" restoration though.  if they were.. i think you have a legitimate complaint.. but the ceramic coated headers kinda gives it away that this is a resto-mod dontcha think? : :yesnod:

I guess Id still like to see all that stuff look right even if it is a Resto -mod type build. .... you can have headers on a car and still do all those other things right, not?

I mean ,Resto mods are cool , but its an excuse to change things up not necessarily leave things undone. IMO.

That's a major '69 no-no in my book. :nono:

McLovin' the chrome JC Whitney oil pan as well.  definitely a looker though...would need some new owner personalization though

:iagree:
Gotta agree. I have the emblems and stripe also but had no choice as the stripe is painted on without R/T.  I saw that car before and thought the R/T emblem thing was a shame to see to such a nice car overall. :'(
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

Daytona R/T SE

Well, I've gotta disagree with the group here...I always liked the look of the stripe WITH the R/T emblem  :coolgleamA:

I was planning on doing exactly that to my '69 R/T SE, before my '69 R/T SE started to morph into my '69 Daytona R/T SE   ;)

Guess I'm just weird  :shruggy:

Really very few folks would notice that "no no" - only you purists. i wouldn't kick it out of bed for eating crackers.

moparstuart

I like the stripe and emblem together also , but i am far from a purist .  I would have done it on my R/T clone , but like chris mine has morphed into a daytona project also

Damned morphing Mopars   ;) ;D

six-tee-nine

I kinda agree with brian on the detailing.....
Upgrading to headers or a better brake syustem does'nt mean the details don't have to be right....

This is one I see often : the marker light housing should be white instead of black and of course the emblem should not be there at all.

If you spend this amout of money to a resto of course you still can have it the way YOU want but IMO is still has to be right in some way...
Greetings from Belgium, the beer country

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

:2thumbs: I agree, stripe with the emblem looks great in my book.

I'd take this car in a second, six pack, 4 speed, Dana, black, the heck with the minor correct cosmetic issues. Drive the hell out of it and if it cheeses off a few Mopar purist  :nana:
