Shackle difference; original versus new

Here's a picture of a comparison of the new shackles out there for our Mopars and the original... I can take my grinder and widdle away some of the material to make the indention longer and closer in looks to the original... Luckily it's not the other way around.. Would be sort of hard to add material.......

1. before I cut away on one side
2. after I trimmed one side up.. Came out pretty good.. Will never be perfect, but hey, it's ok......

Looks more beefier. Mine weren't quite as bad so I blasted and powder coated them.
