really worths the change ?

stock 400 iron intake againts edelbrock performer intake ? ( not the RPM model, I mean the basic performer ).

when I'm saying if really worths I means IF REEEAAAAALLY worths the change, being at least noticeable and not just for the weight diff

Hi,

I think this has been discussed before and the vedict was it doesn't make any difference to a stock intake.
If height is the problem, you're better of with an edelbrock DP4B(only available second hand) or a weiand action plus.

Hot Rod has tested a series of mopar big block intakes, including the performer:

To bad they didn't test an original inlet.

The 70-71 4bbl intakes are generally considered to the best factory manifolds ever cast by Ma Mopar  :2thumbs:
