This really bites as I was just getting ready to order the 15x7's vectors and they are no longer are making them along with the 15x8's which they only have a few left. Do you think come back out with them in the near future?? I'd rather not used old ones and would rather use brand new ones.

I thought when they reintroduced them not long ago, they said at the time it was going to be a limited run and that was it?

They were just a limited edition.  I doubt they will ever bring them back out too.

Good luck on your search for the 15 x 7.  There is one out there somewhere.  I'm sure you will find it.

Yeah, they're not likely to return honestly.

I applaud American Racing for making them again at all, but the problem is that AR varied them just enough from the originals that the hardcore GL fans didn't like them as much as the originals.  And the 15x8 offset didn't even fit on the front of '69 Chargers (figure that one out).

If I was American Racing, I think I would have tried tooling up just one new Vector, maybe a 15x8.0" width (not 15x8.5" like the originals).  Keep the original lip shape, paint color, and backspacing.

I cant log back into my tripleblkr/t account for some reason, but I think I found some 15x7's or maybe there the 8 1/2's I cant tell with his description. Either way I need the 15x8 1/2's any way so I bought them.  It says 4.5 under width but I think they put the bolt pattern under that by mistake.

Be aware that the reproduction 15x8.5" Vectors won't clear the front upper balljoint on a '69 Charger.  The new wider size was made on a 5" backspacing, as opposed to the 4" backspacing on all the original Vectors (and on the new repro 15x7" size).

I've purchased one 15x7 American racing vector that will be here soon. I just purchased these ones on eBay hoping that these might be 15x7's also and that way I'll have a spare front one. If these ones on eBay are actually 15x8 1/2's I'll use them on the back of my charger and I'll still need one more the front. Figured I couldn't go wrong for $200.00 for the pair in new condition. I'm just waiting for the seller to email me back and tell what the width is.  They never made any American racing 4.5 inch wide vectors did they? That's what he had on the auction. He also states that the back space is 6", where I don't see a 6" bs any where for the new vectors.
