since 73, electronic ignition was factory equipment so you car already have electronic ignition. Wouldn't be a mandatory upgrade... if you want an upgrade over the stock assembly, will be a nice one, but not extremelly necesary, at least for regular street use.

but definitelly not the one you posted... that blue module is practically same stock one. Get an orange or even Chromed box to make it worthly. Dunno if the box you have is really a Mopar Chromed one ?

BTW for the price I have SERIOUS DOUBTS the distributor is really a performance one... maybe it is, but dunno. Module is definitelly not.
