I agree these are nice but you get what you pay for. I used on one of my cars when I was rebuilding the original starter. The DB starter was fine but you could tell that it would not last more then a year or so. Just did not seem to be as solidly built as the original. Like I said, you get what you pay for.

There are many using DB Electric starters on very high compression motors without issue. That was one reason for going with it myself..
