How did the truck next to it survive? Or was it parked there recently

Luke

I don't know. The truck likely wasn't there during the fire.

Dodge Don

It has SE emblems. May have been an R/T....looks like the door scoops melted off given colour change in that area. Shame.

If I could get the VIN I could update the 70 Charger Registry on the fate of this car in case it miraculously pops up as a running car in the future.

This '70 wasn't as lucky, it got caught in the wildfires. Santa Rosa, California 10/16/17.
I hope the owner is OK 😢

Saw this gem of a 70RT in Pahrump Nevada on a road trip last week.
Every great legend has it's humble beginning.
Project 668:

Projected Driveline:

Carb intake w/Holley 750 VS

6-Speed Dodge Viper Transmission

Fully rebuilt Dana-60 w/Motive gears. 3.55 Posi, Yukon axles.

Finished in triple black.

Kern Dog

With the other classics behind it I'm guessing it is either a shop or a collector?

It was a shop, they had a 70 Cuda, and another project 70 Charger there as well.  There were also a bunch of GM/Ford cars; was a cool stop on the road.

1968 Charger in Redding, CA on 4/26/17.

There should be a shop in or near Reddin CA, Victory Paint? Or Victory restorations? My friend helped get that new facility open for his sister and her husband for a few months. In turn they took his 68 Coronet RT to restore.

Looks like he is driving in the Passengers seat. :shruggy:

Funny.  That was the first thing I thought too.
Who in their right mind would say

"The science should not stand in the way of this."?

Science is just observation and hypothesis.  Policy stands in the way.........

Or maybe it protects us.

I suppose it depends on the specific case.....

there is a 70 Charger in this picture, next to the garage. ( I know its hard to see, long ways from the road) I have been told there are 7 more 2nd gen Chargers on this place, but I couldn't see them from the road. I was also told the owner has a special greeting for those who inquire about his cars.

Sorry, no pics (I was driving) but saw a 1971 Roadrunner in Bahama Yellow driving down the road.  I got behind it and followed for a few blocks.  Sounded pretty healthy!  Eastern Cincinnati suburbs.

With his single wide trailer and crack habit, I bet all of his cars are worth 100K. :smilielol:
