What the heck is that to the left of the Charger?   :scratchchin:

Looks like a botched "Corvette Summer" project.

I was thinking corvette also.

Tomorrow is promised to no one.......drive your Charger today.

Took a ride out with Speedo to Larry the plumbers place out in Rhinebeck NY a few weeks ago to scavange parts for a 70 Cuda ragtop project he sold to a guy.

A lotta sad sights to see...  and some that could possibly be fixed...     His place was in a copy of mopar muscle a few months back.

These are just some of the Chargers...

Some day he might figure out some money is better than none.

Nothing wrong with making a buck, as he took the time to save & "store' them, but it isn't going to be a retirement plan.

Went on a weekend run down the line & caught up with a 70 Charger 500, a 70 Charger R/T and a 72 383 Charger. Nice

I wonder if that blue '68 is a true R/T with the wild life growing out of the rear driver's side window.
The R/T badge is on the front grille but not the rear tail panel just the Arrow.

Either way it's a shame just sitting there.

These types save them till the day they die, then in a hasty property clean up most of the good car & parts get very much wasted or don't fall into the proper hands.
There is no way one guy can restore even half of that rusted junk, even to restore a couple of them he would have to sell off another 10 parts cars to fund it.

A guy I meet on and off over the last couple years got larry the plumbers number from me and took and ride and bought the Pièce de résistance ...  aka the 70 Superbird.    Price undisclosed but less than what he has been offered in the past.  So it runs and drives and he brought it out to the pizza place cruise last Tuesday  :2thumbs:

Long spring shackles and air shocks were cool back then  O0. Look at the sh!ty fitment of the trunk lid. Probably came the factory like that.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....
