well, last sunday I started a new job: Pizza delivery.  with gas I'm not doing too bad, I'm only using about 5 gallons a day making about 15-20 deliveries, and making about $50-$70 a day.
when racing deals fall apart.....you go home, like me.

Nice, one of my younger cousins does the same, he's pulling in a full days wage for 4 hours work.
WANTED: NOS or excellent condition 72-74 4 speed shifter boot for bench or centre armrest car, part number 3467755. It's a rubber boot that looks like it's sewn up leather.

hmmmm mabe i need to be thinking about being a pizza guy i only make about 220 every week. sounds like its up my ally. my trucks not to bad on gass i can get about 250 miles outa a full take but a full take is 50 bucks or so....

The LeBaron for now, I'm trying to save up to buy an ex-police Diplomat from down the street to race in, It turns out that the pizza place is fine with me racing, the owner's a NASCAR nut (go fig), so I might even be able to get sponsorship from them once I get the car.

anyways, this job is now a great excuse to get those performance parts for my car, the shocks and springs and such.

(If I can save up enough money, then I'll get me a Charger once I learn how to do all the resto stuff, I dont wanta screw up a decent Charger to do so)

How much for a large combo with extra cheese delivered to Utah? :icon_smile_big:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

There are more interesting bonuses being the Pizza Guy than tips...  I delivered for almost 3 years. If I could afford the car insurance, I'd still be doing it.

I wouldnt deliver pizza unless I had beater, I love my cars to do something like that, we had old blazer that we delivered newspapers in for like year and gas was going fast too.   We said screw that and waking up at 4am everyday just to make $500

Hey well $500 is a lot of money to some of us.

I'm working 60 hours a week at one job, and then doing a video business on the side and barely making $700 a week.

Jeez I'm only make $414 a week and I'm happy for it! I can almost pay off all my bills!  :icon_smile_big: The average job here in the Cariboo only pays $8.50 an hour and you'll only work 3 or 4 days a week IF you're lucky!

I am not upset at what I make at my construction job, just disapointed in my second job. Hardly no income at all so far. Out $30K and so far have a total of $75 in sales.

I was doing some thinking about the whole gas thing going on down here, maybe a small block stroker or a big block wouldnt be too bad.  More power = easier to move the car = less gas used?

I knew a guy who used to deliver booze for a liquor store & said there was this one, older, drunk woman who'd order something every Friday. He never missed a day of work on a Friday, & always came back late bragging about how he made the "delivery" & earned his tip. One of my other friends worked with this guy, & ended up delivering to this drunk woman once on a different day. He said she invited him inside, but he refused & waited on the steps. He also said he couldn't remember the last time he saw something as scary as her when she came to the door with a cigarette in one of those long, Hollywood movie star, cigarette holders & a see through gown. He knew the Friday night delivery guy wasn't lying about what was going on, but he also knew he wasn't the most "selective" when it came to the opposite sex.  :scared:
