re-assembling brakes

Hi Guys

I need some help with My 72 Challenger --re the front brakes.  i don't know if the caliper goes on the front or the back of the rotor. im aTTaching 2 pics--1st one when we first got the car and the 2nd is when i put it back together.. this a stock application.  does anyone know.. wud appreciate yor help.

On my 70 Charger they mount in front like your second pic. Looks like you have the spindles on the wrong side to me, thus making the caliper braket face the rear  :-\

The brake bleeder needs to be at the top when the caliper is mounted.

do you have your hoses?? They will help determine where the calipers want to be.. As far as will it work to the opposite side, yes. Just make sure the bleeder is up. If you mount the the opposite of where they where, you can just switch calipers side to side.
