I'd say USC moves down towards the bottom of the top 10 after getting beat by an unranked team and Missouri should go to #4 or #5. The Big XII is going to kick butt this year. Every team is coming together, even Baylor! It's going to be an interesting season.

Mizzou doesn't have a gimme with the Huskers.  There games are always competative.  Even when the Tigers were big 12 bottom feeders and Nebraska was ranked they played each other tough.  I would like to see Mizoou get a BCS bid since they really were screwed by the commitee last season

Did you really just say a "few" upsets this weekend? I think it was a pretty good weekend for college football with quite a few upsets. Although  not real huge upsets, but non the less Florida wasn't supposed to lose, neither was Georgia, neither was USC, and neither was Purdue against lowly Notre Dame.

I dunno about the NU/MU games always being competitive though...  The mid/late 80s produced a lot of lopsided drubbings by Nebraska, back when NU was one of the "have's" and while Mizzou was definitely in the "have not" column.  I know, as I suffered through every one of them in the Faurot Field (Columbia, MO) stands.  Let's just say that the Coach Woody Widenhofer era is not fondly remembered by most of my classmates.  We found other reasons to be happy though...   

I do hope Mizzou does fare a little better this year in the BCS process than they did last year, but they also have to come through on the field in a lot of Big XXII games.  It might actually work better for them to stay below the #1 slot as that is often the kiss of death - see last year's MU/OU game as Exhibit A among a host of other #1s who met the same fate.

Les Miles is a piece of crap that lies to his team, tells him he is taking another job during halftime of a bowl game, and leaves the school high and dry. I'm surprised he didn't do that with LSU and go to Michigan. He will always be a piece of crap in my book.
