Just got an email from Todd Marsh at Marsh Performance.  He is the one we dealt with last year on the TTI group buy.  He is wondering if anyone is interested in doing another one.  He also stated possibly doing one for other products he carries including gear vendors.  If anyone is interested in either of these email me at bsanders@ameritech.net  matt  There will be a price increase at TTI on Jan 1.......

Price increase Jan. 1 my butt!  I just got hit with one of their increases last week because their chrome supplier raised rates. >:(

It depends on the deal. Last time my final price was basically free shipping on the TTi site list price. It was rather easy to find the same deal elsewhere (and I did).

runningman

Yeah it will probably be 10% or so.  TTI is kind of difficult to deal with, when I contacted them directly they wanted nothing to do with a group buy.  Basically he was saying there stuff was so good they didn't need to.  The retailers aren't supposed to discount them at all.  I am still waiting to hear back from him as to what the actual % will be.

Okay, TTI will be the same as last time, 10% off.  Gear Vendor units will be $2200 delivered depending on what model you will need.  Not sure what % discount that is.  If anyone is still interested let me know.  You can call Todd directly, his number is on his site www.marshperformance.com

any idea about shipping? Does somebody know the dimensions and weight of such a packet (headers with H-system, no mufflers)
Thanks

When I ordered my stuff last year the 10% discount pretty much covered the shipping costs.  The prices you see on the site will probably be close to what your total bill will be.

Man if only I had a tti 20% off code, Id be interested. You would think if enough of us was going to place an order, they could beat the 10%.
As much as I would like to have a tti system, I cant see spending $600 on a couple bent pipes :rotz:

runningman

Yeah, Todd isn't really supposed to discount the TTI stuff at all.  He says that is the best he can do without getting in trouble with them.  TTI will not deal with us directly.  I tried contacting them a couple of times..........not interested

shipping to Belgium with UPS will brake the bank. :P
The 10% off is a nice discount but it won't cover the shipping cost.
How the hell will I get a big and heavy box like that to Belgium?

Hmmm, not sure the best way to ship over there..........Maybe you can email Todd and let him know you are with dodgecharger.com and see what he can do.

I've been looking at the TTI stuff for my Charger. I had pretty much settled on getting the Schumacher headers and the TTI exhaust system and paying the local shop to mate them up. I would be very interested in any savings even if it is just free shipping. I'm torn. It would be easier to get the TTI headers and their exhaust and just bolt it all together my self. I really like the design of the Schumacher headers though. They make starter servicing so much easier.

I take it not too many of you guys are even interested in the Gear Vendors Overdrive unit then?

69_500

Has anyone here installed the gear Vendors overdrive unit on their car already? If so how impressed are you? I was looking at some over drive units, as it would be nice to have more than 3 gears to use, and I would think it would greatly improve driveability and gas mileage.

Charger4404spd

eastcoastcharger installed one behind his killer hemi. He really likes it. Shoot him a PM if you need more info.

NYCMille also has one.

Very happy with it IIRC.

Sadly, I think his post detailing the install was lost when the old site went belly up.

Bet he'd have plenty of info.
