Looks like the All Outakes from Englishtown will air on Wed, Oct 1st at 9:30 PM and Pinks All Out will air Thursday, Oct 2 at 9:00 PM....Can't wait to see it...  :icon_smile_big:

Keep an eye out for a certain 69 Charger....also they had the most Mopars I've ever seen in the final 16, including a wicked 69 Charger!

No recording device here but gives me an excuse to quit working on the race car early. :icon_smile_big:
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?

Of course I didn't know who to look for, besides the car.  That was a good lookin' Duster.

Cool to see Rich getting all excited about Mopars.  :2thumbs:

Sorry Doug...   I was hoping you'd make the cut.

Kinda hard to root for the Duster that you know wins it all against a Charger tho.   :shruggy:

Well, I'm not surprised....the interview was not that good. I had just put a big hole in the radiator and had just got it out as they rolled up with the cameras. So, as steam is coming out of the hood, they are taking pictures and asking a bunch of questions...I was trying to figure out how I was going to get back into it as I was answering them.....it wasn't a happy time for me to answer a bunch of questions for sure.

Doug, i watched the whole show hoping to catch your interview. Talk about bad timing....they come to interview you right after a rad blowout and you thrashing to get back in the game. Never fails !!!

I do like that launch pic with the Pinks crew in the background....you made the show and got to race....and have the pic to prove it !  :2thumbs:

Ya, that first day was nothing but thrashing. Lot's to that story besides just the rad. I kissed it with the fan on the first run, tore it up good. After waisting 30 minutes or so doing the interview I decided to make the 3 hour round trip back home to get another one. I got back just in time to get it in and make the very LAST run. I made the FIRST run of the day and the LAST one. Of course that one fell apart to because my linelock didn't release all the way and I ran a 12.8 with the front brakes on! Pinched the wire between the switch and the relay.....It was a long day. :brickwall:

I went to school with the guy in the orange 69 barracuda, he may have been a memeber on here since he used to own a 68 charger.
