I recently swaped out my 8 1/4 rear, 318/904 with a 8 3/4 340/904 and my drive shaft is about an inch to long does anyone know how long a drive shaft I need?  I thought the old one would fit since the 904 is still in.  The shaft I have is 4' 5 3/8 " - the yoke.

the diff / pinion on the 8 3/4 is slightly longer so the driveshafts are slightly shorter with the 8 3/4 diffs
