All,
Forgive me if this has been covered before, I did search for quite a while. I saw this car on Ebay ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110290001348&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:MOTORS:1123) and wondered if this was a factory stripe. Its similar to the 69' stripe on DMCL but a little different. Enclosed are some side shots. Any info or code is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Definitely not factory. Funny, I saved those same pictures, as they replicate almost EXACTLY the picture that is in my head for my stripe. I love the DMCL car and planned to do the same stripe but with the small pinstripes along it like on the Ebay car.  :2thumbs:

Whom ever did the strip did a nice job overall. They have to be quite old to fade and wear in that way. I had never seen them so I was curious if it was some obscure option I had never encountered. Thanks for the info!

Yeah man, it looks good but if you notice the stripe on the drivers side is lower on the car than the one on passenger. Look at the location in relation to the rear wheel wells and the rear marker light. Definitely old!

doesn't flow on 68 Charger imo. Bumble bee stripes are way to go.

Sure, a stripe going the opposite direction as the bodylines FLOWS with them so much better!  :shruggy:

That 68 is about 5 miles from my house. Its been sitting in the same spot since I noticed it over 12 years ago. It was one of those "going to fix it someday" deals. Its on the local CL for 5000. I guess thats a decent price considering its a four speed but it is extremely rough. The floors are gone and from what I recall the rear rails will need work.
