Sooo...to mark out where to cut the hood, did he put the air cleaners on, slam the hood & cut out around the dents? :smilielol:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Probably....an interesting dude to say the least.
He paid $1000 for the car, then - years later - buys a Ray Barton 528 Hemi for it.
For a very deep discount....
Probably just to piss me off, because he knows it would kill me.

maybe when he fires it up the car will just instantly pretzel and then the hemi tears itself out  to go shooting off across the fields....

the coil really sets the whole package off nicely.

The DS valve cover looks bashed in on the front corner....hopefully yhat gets fixed or replaced.  :yesnod:

Otherwise it looks fine....just like any other project car in the mock-up phase.  :icon_smile_big:

A hood scoop or even better, a 'glass hood with the proper 67 ro/wo scoop will look killer on that car.  :icon_smile_cool:

I like his taste in cars at least.  A WO hood scoop and some of your good influence and it could become a whole new project.

Yeah, mock-up phase....problem is - he's probably finished!
I've helped him along A LOT over the years...providing parts, ideas, and instruction. Now that I'm all the way across the continent from him, there's nobody there to "suggest" how to make things right.
I wonder if he ever got the brakes working? :scratchchin:
